Nano Banana is an image generation model from Google, designed with a focus on speed and accessibility. Where other flagship models take 20–40 seconds to generate, Nano Banana delivers results in 5–10 seconds. This makes it an ideal tool when you need to quickly iterate through several concept options or create many images in a short time.
The model handles a wide range of tasks well: photorealistic scenes, illustrations, anime, product photos, landscapes, portraits. In terms of detail and prompt accuracy, it falls short of flagship models like FLUX 2 Max, but for everyday tasks, this compromise is fully justified — especially considering the cost of 3 credits per image versus 7 for FLUX.
Suitable for regular content creation, rapid prototyping of ideas, and generating drafts that can later be refined in an AI editor.
